Orion
The stars were brilliant last night. As I was walking into the house, I glanced up and saw a familiar friend. Orion, my favourite and one of the most easily recognizable constellations. I just had to grab my camera.
(2nd picture edited to outline Orion. Key: look out for Orion's belt, easy to find)
Reminds me of a certain night at Port Dickson in 1994.
Holy crap. Has it been that long?

... I can't see the star...
you have an awesome camera out there.
Click on the picture to enlarge it. you can't see all the stars, but you certainly could see the main ones (8 of them, including orion's belt)
oooh... wow... thanks... This makes me jealous. I look out my window and I don't even see a single star here.
Great picture! :)
Thanks.
Yea, i lurve my camera. Fuji finepix S5000. It's got a great lens.
I couldn't see it at first. I guess the astronomy class that I took in college was flushed down the toilet!LOL!
ps. Sometimes, you can get very good view of the stars on some parts of I-94 (between Maple Grove and St Cloud) and Northern lights between Hwy 10 to 64, going up to Bemidji.
beautiful entry
