Grand Canyon National Park

Grand Canyon Posted by Hello

Drove 4 hours to the Grand Canyon. That was one of the places I wanted to see before I die.
One word.
Amazing.
I was in awe. Speechless, humbled by the beauty and sheer size. Did hours of hiking and took a LOT of pictures. Didn't have the time to hike down to the Colorado river (would take 2 days) so I just walked around the south rim.
Went alone because my buddy LP who was supposed to fly in had his flight from Minnesota cancelled because of the snowstorm there. But the solitude was good for me.

Done the Grand Canyon thing. Next would be Paris.

The only time I have ever felt vertigo in my life was standing on the rim of the Grand Canyon. As you say, it's truly an awesome sight. Glad you had the chance to get there, so we could enjoy your reaction and the photos you took. Carry on!

Heh heh, dude, you don't wanna have an episode of vertigo at the rim of the Grand Canyon. But yea, it was great.

Tell you what, you've never in your life seen a human move backwards so fast as I did, on that rim. Felt like that canyon was flat pulling me in...face first. Whoa!
