 Happy Chinese New Year.

Admittedly, for me, it's always bittersweet. It brings back memories from decades ago, of my youth, family. Traditions of yore.

However, being so far away from "home", there is no inkling of festivities. Not when you're half a world away. When your spouse grew up in a totally different culture. When your kids were raised here.

So, the Lunar New Year means little here. And sometimes, this is when homesickness is worst.
